In this video series, we sat down with three New York City-based performing artists to see how they get their day started.
Why did we make this?
In January of each year, more than 45,000 people from the performing arts world flock to New York City for JanArtsNYC, a platform for celebrating the newest works by artists in theater, dance, opera, and music. During this month, we connected with three Mellon Foundation grantees to learn why showing up for art matters now more than ever.
Production Process
As the Producer of this series, I managed the casting and production coordination, building upon my existing relationships within the performing arts community. I directed the video production on set and interviewed each of the artists. I scripted the final edit and worked alongside our video editor to deliver long-form and short-form versions.
