content writing & copywriting
As a dancer and writer, I bring an artist-focused lens to my writing, providing context and interpretation to the performances, creative processes, and personal narratives I cover.
As a copywriter, I use purposeful writing to elevate the work of artists. Using an interview-based approach and my knowledge of performance studies, dance history, and cultural trends, I seek to connect artists with new audiences.

2020: A Year in Motion
From onstage performances to live streamed engagements, your passion and dedication for the art of dance has kept us moving forward! This year's highlights include virtual seasons on Instagram; "Dancing Dialogues," a discussion series that delves into topics at the forefront of the dance community; and a virtual catalogue of dance content from around the world, "Bring Dance Home." Your support has never been more impactful than now as we continue to work toward the day when The Joyce Theater’s doors can re-open to the public and we can dance together again.
Today, we ask you to continue giving the gift of dance. Your kindness will provide The Joyce with crucial resources to:
-
Develop rich and inventive programs with visionary artists from across the dance landscape for both digital and physical spaces;
-
Further adapt The Joyce’s Dance Education program’s curriculum for a virtual learning environment; and
-
Welcome our artists, audiences, and staff back to our Chelsea main stage at 175 Eighth Avenue when it is safe to do so.
Thank you so much for your consideration, and for making The Joyce Theater New York City’s home for dance and ours.
Best wishes for a bright and happy 2021!

Mission Driven
This year, we celebrate International Dance Day with new traditions.
Although our theaters are dark and studios empty, we've found ways to keep this dance community together, even while we're apart. With kitchen stools as ballet barres and living room couches as home theaters, our dance family hasn't let this intermission stop us from creating!
